Set in Montreal in 2006, Maggie reads an article about the release of Yu Dongyue from a prison, and fixates on the story of this Chinese journalist imprisoned for 17 years for having thrown paint on a portrait of Mao during the Tiananmen Square student protests of 1989; the play brings this story close to home. www.imagotheatre.ca
