Guest Jacqueline Van de Geer, creator/performer of "La Guerre en moi / The War Within"; six performances presented in her salon at Her residence in Centre-sud, April 19-21 at 8pm & 9:30pm, as part of The International Home Theatre Festival. An intimate bilingual text with movement, inspired by memories of her youth, her father, the war that is always there, the peace in us all, her toys 'the black dolls' and the love of ghosts. All this forms a hallucinating fairy-tale for adults.

The Lakeshore Light Opera (LLO) put a lot of LOL (loads of love) into their next production by Guilbert & Sullivan "IDA" presented March 8-16 at the Louise Chalmers Theatre, John Rennie Hight School, 501 St-Jean, Point-Claire. Recorded LIVE from the Quebec Drama Federation launch of the 2013 spring calendar event hosted by Warona Setshwaelo at the Segal Centre. The event was organized by QDF's Jane Needles executive director and Cassandra Rose director of communications with the assistance of the QDF staff and volunteers. Montreal's Main ARTery is also officially unveiled during the evening and features an ad on page 9 of the calendar. Listen to another segment of 'You be the Critic', maybe you'll hear yourself or someone you know give their reactions and comment on the productions that were presented for this season. Okay maybe that's premature wishful thinking, however the English language theatre community of Quebec is uniting to launch the Quebec Drama Federation (QDF) 2013 spring calendar on Monday, February 25 at 7pm at the Segal Centre for the Performing Arts, and everyone is invited and welcome to attend.
